What is Cluster Jewel?
It is one of these newly added POE items in Delirium expansion to expand the passive tree and add new minor nodes, notables, and keystones. It provides powerful new possibilities for your character builds. There are 280 new notables for you to utilize in your builds.
Many of these jewels also create more jewel sockets which means you can branch quite far outside your tree if you want to heavily invest in these passives.
There are three sizes of jewel - Large, Medium and Small, each with a different focus. Large jewels may be placed in the outermost passive skill tree sockets and focus on offensive bonuses. Medium jewels can be placed in the outermost passive skill tree sockets or a socket created by a large jewel and they focus on specific mechanics and utility effects. Small cluster jewels can be placed in sockets created by Large or Medium jewels and sockets on the outermost parts of the passive skill tree. Small jewels focus on defenses. Based on the number of passives the jewel provides, each one is suitable for different sockets.
How to find Cluster Jewel?
Cluster Jewels can be crafted using all of the same methods that you're used to using with other Path of Exile items. Players should note that the number of passive skills added by the jewel work like enchantments, not implicit mods, meaning they cannot be rerolled with Blessed Orbs, and will not be overwritten if players add a corruption-exclusive implicit mod to the jewel.
Among these three types of Cluster Jewel, the large Cluster Jewels can add Medium Cluster Sockets to the passive tree, while the Medium ones can add Small Cluster Sockets. But a Medium Cluster Jewel isn't allowed to provide a Large Socket.
Generally, the exile can find Cluster Jewel dropping from any monster affected by the Delirium mist, and the huger difficulty of bosses can increase its drop rate. Also, the easier the monsters are to deal with, the smaller the drop rate.
Can Cluster Jewel trade with each other?
Cluster Jewel can be traded with each other while playing, but where buying or selling, it won't bring much change to the in-game economy as it is not very rare.
